Dr. KP Madhukar

Having 10 years of operative experience Dr Kumar Premjeet Madhukar is a consultant in Minimal Access (Laparoscopic) Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery including gastrointestinal endoscopy and General Surgery.He graduated from RIMS, Ranchi and has done Masters in Surgery from the prestigious B.Y.L. Nair Hospital and T. N. Medical College, Mumbai. He further specialized in Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery, and obtained his Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) and the Fellowship in Gastrointestinal Endo Surgery (FIAGES). Dr. Madhukar is a member of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) and Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES). He has several publications and presentations in conferences to his credit including the Best Poster Award at MASICON. In his capacity as a Maharashtra University of Health Sciences approved Medical Teacher and Assistant Professor in K. J. Somaiya Medical College he is actively involved in the teaching and evaluation of undergraduate as well as post graduate students in Surgery.Dr. K. P. Madhukar has a deep interest in Minimal Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery, especially Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Surgery and is regularly performing Advance Laparoscopic Surgery like Liver-Pancreas-Bile Duct Surgery, Gall Bladder Surgery, Hernia Surgery, Colorectal and Foregut Surgery. He is also highly skilled in General Surgery including Breast and Thyroid Surgery.
