Dr. Kirti Bhushan

Dr. Kirti Bhushan is a surgical oncologist in Mumbai with 18 years of practice. He is consultant surgical oncologist at the Asian Cancer Institute, S.L. Raheja (Fortis) Hospital, Mahim, and at Asian Cancer Institute, Somaiya Ayurvihar, and a visiting consultant at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, Mumbai, and Narayana Vaishnodevi Cancer Hospital, Jammu.He completed his MBBS at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in 2000, his MS in General Surgery at Government Medical College, Jammu, in 2005, and his DNB in Surgical Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi, in 2010, where he also trained as senior resident and clinical associate. He has been registered with the Delhi Medical Council since 2006 and the Maharashtra Medical Council since 2008. He received the best outstanding young oncosurgeon award from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in 2009, best doctor awards from the Department of Surgery, GMC Jammu, and from Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, in 2012, and published a book on breast cancer with the Breast Cancer Foundation, India, in 2014.His work covers breast cancer, gynaecological cancers, head and neck cancer surgery, lung cancer, Ewing's sarcoma and giant cell tumours, sentinel node biopsy, ultrasound-guided cytology and cancer screening.
