Dr. Kapil Mohan

Dr. Kapil Mohan is a fellowship trained spine surgeon. Aftersuccessfully completing his medical degree from Seth G.S.MedicalCollege & K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai he went on to complete his Mastersin Orthopaedic Surgery and Diplomate of National Board in Orthopaedics followed by extensive experience from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Hospital, Sion, Mumbai. He then worked for three years at Division of Spine Surgery, Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.Dr. Mohan has vast international experience as well from the worldrenowned institutions like the Twin Cities Spine Center, USA; ClinicalFellowship in Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery at Singapore GeneralHospital, Singapore; AO Spine fellowship at Royal Adelaide Hospital,Adelaide, Australia; The prestigious Paediatric Spine fellowship atChildrens' Hospital in Westmead, Sydney, Australia andAdult/Paediatric Spine fellowship at Royal Adelaide Hospital,Adelaide, Australia. He has also worked as a Lecturer- Spine Surgeryat the University of Adelaide before returning back to Mumbai.During his training and later Dr. Mohan has been actively involved in academic activities and research. He has a number of publications in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented papers at major international conferences. He was also awarded the best paper award by Association of Spine Surgeons of India in 2011 for his paper on 'Drug Resistance Patterns in Tuberculosis Spine'.
