Dr. Honey Mahavir Gemavat

Dr. Honey Gemavat is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with 10 years of clinical experience in comprehensive women’s healthcare. She holds an MBBS from TNMC & BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai, MS and DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, United Kingdom (MRCOG). She has also completed an Advanced Diploma in ART & Reproductive Medicine from the University of Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel, Germany, along with additional training in laparoscopic surgery and ultrasonography.Dr. Gemavat has trained and worked at leading tertiary-care institutions including Hinduja Hospital, TNMC & BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai, and Government Medical College, Aurangabad, and has served as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sion Hospital, Mumbai. Her clinical experience encompasses routine and high-risk pregnancies, obstetric emergencies, normal and operative deliveries, and a wide range of gynaecological conditions and surgical procedures.Having been involved in 5,000+ deliveries and 1,000+ gynaecological surgeries, her areas of expertise include high-risk obstetrics, gynaecological surgery, minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery, fertility and reproductive medicine, PCOS, menstrual disorders, endometriosis and menopause care.Her academic interests focus on improving the quality of maternity care and advancing evidence-based obstetric practice. She has published research on interventions to reduce caesarean section rates and has authored academic chapters on postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), in addition to contributing to research publications in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.Dr. Gemavat believes that good healthcare goes beyond diagnosis and treatment.
