Dr. Gul Nankani completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai in 1989 and his Masters in Ophthalmology in 1992 from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. He trained at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and the Royal Free Hospital, London, which he followed with a fellowship in Anterior Segment Ophthalmology at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Dr. Nankani established his private practice in 1995 at Krishna Eye Centre, Dadar, and set up a second branch at Sion in 2007, since expanding with a centre at Parel. He was an honorary consultant at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai for 12 years and is a visiting consultant at the Central Private Hospital, Sharjah, UAE.Dr. Nankani specializes in phacoemulsification cataract surgery by the No Injection, No Stitch, No Patch method. He is a pioneer in topical cataract surgery and has done more than 12,000 surgeries. Using his experience in implanting premium intraocular lenses, he provides customized visual rehabilitation with spectacle-freedom to his cataract patients. He is also an experienced LASIK refractive surgeon with in-depth knowledge in the management of glaucoma and other anterior segment disorders.

I have known Dr. Gul J. Nankani for over five years, and both my wife and I had our cataract surgeries done by him, including mine just yesterday. ** ***** **** * ******* ** *** and under his care, we feel very comfortable and confident about our vision. The staff at his clinics are very cooperative and supportive, making you feel safe throughout the process.
Dr. Gul J. Nankani was very expert and explained everything about my condition and treatment in detail, which made me feel comfortable. The clinic was very clean, the staff courteous, and the waiting time reasonable. Overall, the experience was awesome and the consultation fee felt reasonable.
The consultation was well explained and clear, but the waiting time was excessively long—almost two hours. I found it frustrating that the appointment was scheduled at 11 am despite the doctor being in a preplanned surgery. Overall, the doctor communicated well, but the delay was a significant inconvenience.
My experience with Dr. Gul J. Nankani was very good and smooth. The clinic visit was efficient, and the waiting time was about the usual one to one and a half hours. I would definitely recommend him and rate my overall experience as five out of five.
