Dr. Donald Lobo

Dr. Donald Lobo has been my opthalmologist for many years. I have been regularly visiting him for eye check ups for over 10 years now and my experience has always been excellent.

My latest experience with him was when i went to him for consultation for using contact lenses. My experience was extremely satisfactory. I was able to take an appointment a day prior to my planned visit. Taking a prior appointment is advisable as usually there are a lot of patients at his clinic and adhoc appointments will not be possible. I reached the clinic on time and the doctor also was punctual. Initially some of his assistants did a vision check for me to confirm the power of my eyes and prepared a report and a recommendation for the doctor to check. Next i saw the doctor who verified the power of my eyes and reviewed the recommendation of his nurses. After checking with me if i was alergic to anything or if i have any other issues with my eyes he recommended me to use the 'Bausch And Lomb' lenses. After giving me the recommendation i was given a demo session on how to use the lenses and the cleanliness and continuous usage precautions were shared with me. The nurses were extremely helpful and helped with wearing my lenses the first time. I was charged 600 Rs for my visit and i was extremely happy with the consultation.

The only drawback i saw in the clinic was no provision available for emergency cases as walk in cases are entertained only on the availability of the doctor or number of patients in queue which is almost always very high.

Overall i would i highly recommend this doctor for any eye related concerns. He is extremely friendly, caring, punctual.

I would definitely recommend Doctor Lobo. I totally trust my eyes with him and the fact that I have been visiting him for the past 5 years is a testament to that.

I recently visited him for severe eye ache and extreme sensibility to light. I had been struggling with this problem for 2-3 years but never took it seriously until when I could not sit in front of the computer anymore. I visited him recently, though the wait time was high, the doctor patiently listened to everything I had to say about my problem and asked questions for better diagnosis. After the initial checkup and testing, he figured the problem and explained in detail that the problem was not a serious one and suggested non-drug way to cure the ailment. He also encouraged me to ask questions so that I don't worry much. He spends a lot of time with his patients which shows genuine care. Finally, he suggested to come for a re-check up if the pain did not reduce.

One thing that stands out about the doctor is the patience and his ability to listen. I am generally paranoid about my eyes and its power of my spectacles. So I often get my eyes checked up. I also read a lot of things online and therefore ask him a lot of questions. The doctor is patient enough to understand my worries and anxieties and leaves no stone unturned to answer each and every questions that I have till I feel better about my situation.

Finally, the overall experience was good, the place was hygienic, the doctor is very polite and treats his patients with care. The staff was good too but as far as prices are concerned I have always felt they are on the higher side.

Whenever I come to Mumbai from London, I always visit Dr Lobo for my eye check up, and this March Dr Lobo treated me for my cataracts. I was a bit nervous, but Dr Lobo explained everything with utter professionalism and care.

His clinic is well staffed, and contains the most up-to-date, cutting edge technology. Dr Lobo himself is renowned for his expertise in the area, and he more than lived up to his reputation. The operation itself ran like clockwork and I am happy to report that I feel a vast improvement and can actually see without glasses. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Lobo to anyone who has eye problems. He is genuinely kind, makes you feel at ease* *** **** *** ****** you know that you are in a safe pair of hands.

I was diagnosed with glaucoma at the age of 28 with very high pressures and partial vision loss in one eye. The Dr. Managed to bring my vision back to normal and I can't even tell now that there is something wrong. He is very calm, patient and gentle, and listens to all the queries and replies in a very detailed manner. He takes his time with every patient and I always feel like I have his full and undivided attention regardless of how many questions I have. Needless to say **** *** **** *************** ** ******** *** ******** ** *** ***** ** ******* I have utmost faith and confidence in Dr. Lobo, and would recommend his clinic without any reservations whatsoever.

When we reached we were very impressed with the clinic very professional n super clean. The staff were very friendly n got us ready for doctor within 15 min . Over all very Satisfied. Doctor was very approachable n made us very comfortable. We never felt hurried at all. All our questions were answered. Thank you so much .
