Dr. D. R. Kulkarni went through specialty training in HPB surgery and liver transplantation at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong and Paul Brousse Hospital, Paris, France. He has extensive experience, performing complex surgeries like hepatectomy for hepatocellular cancer, metastatic colorectal cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, benign liver tumors like hemangiomas and cysts, gall bladder and bile duct cancer; RFA (Radiofrequency ablation) of liver tumors; pancreatectomy for pancreatic tumors or chronic pancreatitis; surgery for necrotizing pancreatitis and pseudocyst; repair of bile duct injuries and strictures and laparoscopic HPB surgery and gallstone surgery.
