Happy with: Doctor friendliness
I tested my heart calcium CT score which came to be more than 2000. So we consulted interventional cardiologist they said that I have to undergo angiograpy. After going through angiography there were multiple blockages major blockages was in right Coronary artery LED and lcx was also partially blocked so I consulted many interventional cardiologist they all suggested to go for a bypass so then I consulted 3 to 4 major cardiac surgeons shortlisted by me who were specialising and doing internal memory artery bypass that is without taking vain from hand or legs in that only doctor Bipin Chandra Bhamre gave guarantee that he will not harvest any vain from leg or hand so I decided to go in for surgery with doctor bhamare surgery went on well at Reliance Hospital Girgaon. ***** *** **** * ********* ** ********* **** ** ******** ********* I was discharged on 8th day but the infection stayed so I had to take antibiotic course at residence ***** **** ***** ********** ********* through saline for 8 days the reason for infection was not clarified by the Reliance Hospital *** ****** * **** * ********* ** ******** ******** *** **** *** *** ****** *** ************ ******* After this antibiotic course was finished next day my blood pressure suddenly dropped and had to rush to Emergency Room of Reliance Hospital there all test were done including 2D Eco but nothing wrong was found and I was discharged in the evening. This costed around 15k additional for bypass surgery doctors *** ******** ****** **** **** * ** *** ******* **** **** *** *** * ****** **** **** **** ** ********* *** ******** **** ** I am writing this review after 6 months of my surgery my surgery was done on 12th January 2026 but firstly it was infection then severe stomach muscle pain which lasted for one month. Even after 6 month when I went to check up with doctor he said all symptoms ok. But before surgery had no symptoms but now during climbing of slopes I feel exhausted ** * ** ********** ******* **** * *** ****** *** ****** ******** For this exhaustion problem doctor specified some additional medicine for 15 days which I took but still there is no relief and Dr Bhamre is saying that all my symptoms are okay but i am not satisfied. * ** ************ ******* **** * *** ****** ****** ******* **** ***** ******** My surgery was cashless surgery through insurance with was very easily done insurance procedure at Reliance Hospital. The cashless portion came out to be around 7 lakhs at Reliance Hospital. Pre and post operative expenses total at around 2.45 lakhs out of which team charges are still not reimbursed by insurance company and few charges are paid by myself out of pocket. but there are team charges taken by doctor which are in the range of 1.25 to 1.5 Lakh from each person going through surgery my insurance company is still not reimbursing these team charges cost. ** **** ** *** *** ******* ********* ********** ** *** **** * **** ********* ***** *** *** *** *** ******* ****** *** *** ** *** ******* **** ** *** **** ** *** ***** ***** ******** ** ** ****** ***I think Reliance Hospital should allow these team charges to be taken directly at hospital so that, even that is covered under cashless portion.I was having no symptoms I went in for full body checkup calcium score came high. I had to undergo a surgery as per cardiologist advice. No one gave satisfactory explanation as I had no symptoms and when I asked about collaterals or weather I can continue my life as it is with help of statins they said it's a very high risk to take and I am must undergo a surgery. My angiography was done by Dr Ravi Gupta ***** *** ******* ** ********.There are various articles and studies that in angiography you can study the blood flow beyond the blockage. There are intra arterial ultrasounds which can guid you to a additional successful angioplasty. There are rotablators to remove arterial blocks. But unfortunately no interventional cardiologist suggested these procedures and never suggested that we could do Angioplasty more successfully in my case. they all said it is better to go in for bypass then to all these procedure. In my bypass surgery stitches were removed, 15 days after surgery half stitches were removed and 30 days after surgery full stitches removed I did not understand this stitch removal procedure in gap of 15 days. ** ******* ******* ******* ********* ******** ****** ** ******* ****** ***** *** *** ********* ********** * *** *** **** ********* **** ** ** ******* ****** ** ****** ********** the dressing waterproof dressing at Reliance is better. I requestted doctor to do same dressing as in Reliance because it gives satisfaction to patient hopefully in future dressings to other persons are done as per Reliance standard. I think no dressing charges or consultation charges should be taken additionally till Removal of stitches and up to 3 months consultation they should be included in cashless or team charges. * *** ****** ** ***** ******** *** ******** ****** ******* *** *** * **** ** ******** ** ***** ******** *********** ***** ******** ******* * ** ******** ********** ** ***** ** ****** ****** ********** ** ******** ** ***** * ** **** ** ******* **** ********** ****** ***** * ** ****** ****** *****After bypass operation it is very difficult to get up from bed or lie down its painful so I had ordered a motorised bed at residence the cost of which was not reimbursed by insurance.Difference between angioplasty and Bypass is that after angioplast you can resume your work within 7 days and in bypass you lose around 3 months of your work income. After my experience I will not advise anyone to go in for a planned bypass as in my case I did it. Hopefully everyone gets a good interventional cardiologist who can employ all latest techniques and do a guaranteed work of Angioplasty . I was supplied with my bypass surgery full video. I think only Reliance hospital or only doctor Bhamare are so confident of their work that they are doing so. I have not seen or heard of any other hospital giving full surgery video of any surgery procedure to patients* **** ** ** ******** ********** ** ** ***** ****** ******* ****** ****** *** ********* ********* ****** ** *********** *** ********** ******* ** * **** ** **** ** ***** ** ***********
*** ****** ** *** **** ******* ****** ** ***** ******* He is very cooperative and listens to you carefully, He also explains every minute detail of surgery in a way a non-medical person can understand. He gives you enough time to reply to each and every query. His team is excellent, Right from his assistant doctor, Mr. Kunal Shah to his co-ordinator Mr. Vinet to his reception desk operator everyone is super cooperative and you won't face any issues dealing with them. Now with concern to fees, I must say Dr.Bhamre is the only doctor I came across in the city of South Mumbai who is doing this to earn money. His fees are much lower as compared to other doctors in the same region. **** ****** * *** ******* * **** *** **** *****
