I know Dr. Nikhil & Bhuma Vashi since 24 to 25 years as my son’s dental treatment & braces was done by them. Now when l had too many dental issues and other problems related to it got worsened in 2nd wave of COVID period and I was not able to eat anything. I started getting very severe mouth ulcers too. I was some how able to eat only soft dal rice. Very painful dental problems and continuous severe mouth ulcers made my daily life literally miserable. I was not getting desired relief by treatment earlier taken, so finally I went to Dr. Bhuma Vashi. Nine months before when I went to Dr. Bhuma, I had big list of my dental problems, sensitive gums & severe mouth ulcers. Doctor Bhuma had very patiently listened to me, after carefully done all my checkup & different tests, she made systematic plan for my treatment & started addressing my all problems one by one. After starting treatment with her, within 3 months my severe mouth ulcer problem shown the significant improvement. 5 root canal, crowning , restoration of tooth , partial denture & many other related dental issues she addressed very gently, patiently & very importantly she took such a great efforts for smooth painless treatment as I am being very sensitive patient as far as dental treatment is concerned. After almost 2 years I am able to eat all food including chapati and roti & completely got rid of my severe mouth ulcers, all my dental issues because of all efforts of Dr. Bhuma. She is so very motherly caring personality and make the patient at ease and relaxed during treatment. Dr. Bhuma Vashi or my "Mindful Dentist" as I'd like to fondly call her, is excellent at her job. When I visited her with acute pain in my teeth, she made sure to check thoroughly and patiently explain what's wrong, why it's wrong and how it can be corrected. I had one root canal and about 8 cavities sorted by her. I was extremely anxious on the first day of my treatment, but thanks to being the meditator that she is, she made sure I felt relaxed, kept asking me if I am comfortable, if I needed a break, and most importantly, encouraged me to calmly breathe and relax the body. By the time we reached the last day of my treatment (we took about 7-8 sessions), I was extremely chilled and relaxed during the procedure. I'd highly recommend her - the chamber is clean, the staff is also warm and courteous, they religiously follow covid protocols, and use high quality equipment. People often wonder why dental procedures are expensive - well, they are expensive if you delay your treatment! Timely diagnosis could help physically, mentally and financially. Oh and I must also mention - the ambience of the clinic has great vibes - with meditative and instrumental music playing (especially if you like old Hindi songs!).

The way she built a relationship with me really made me feel more at home and comfortable. Especially since I was coming from US and they had made me feel nervous about the whole extraction process but with her it went smoothly. She explained all the procedures very well enough for me to understand. Also the way she performed the procedures was very fast and painless. Which allowed for a fast recovery, that was needed since I needed to be back in the US. Even during the procedure she would explain what is going to do.

Dr. Bhuma is absolutely wonderful. She advised me the right treatment and the best part is that she explains the patient in depth about the problem and why she is choosing a certain path for the treatment in the most cost effective manner. She took all the possible precautions and did in dept research for my case.

I have been going to Dr. Bhuma Vashi since I was 13. This time I went for a wisdom teeth removal (left upper and lower). The operation took 1 hour and the post operative care was excellent. I had requested painkillers and the doctor gave me one that lasted about 5-6 hours. It took about 1.5 weeks for the swelling to reduce and I was fine in about 2 weeks. The sutures were not disolvable. A second appointment was arranged to get them removed. All in all, it was a really great experience. I would certainly recommed going to this doctor for any tooth removal surgery.
