Dr. Bhavisha Ghugare is a senior Consultant- Surgical Oncology, Breast Oncosurgeon practising at HCG Cancer Centre, Mumbai.She has completed her fellowship training in breast cancer surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.She is extensively experienced in managing breast cancer, and her key areas of expertise include:-Breast conservation surgery including, sentinel node biopsy using radiocolloid and isosulfan blue dye oncoplastic breast conservation, round block, etc.-Skin sparing and the nipple-areola complex preserving mastectomies (where breast conservation is not possible) with reconstruction-Bilateral prophylactic mastectomies -Microdochectomy for nipple discharge -Phyllodes tumourShe has completed her basic laparoscopic and stapler training and her basic surgical skill course from the ETHICON Institute, Mumbai.
