Dr. Aggarwal graduated with an MBBS from LTM Medical College, Mumbai and obtained her postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine from TN Medical College, Mumbai. She worked as Intensive Care Unit Associate at Hinduja Hospital before joining Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. There she specialised in neurology and was awarded the Diplomate of the National Board (Neurology) from the NBE, New Delhi. Her other work during this period involved the management of neurological diseases resulting from liver failure and iron deposition in the brain, and an epidemiological study of Parkinsons Disease among Parsees residing in Mumbai.In 2008-09, Dr. Aggarwal was a postdoctoral fellow in cognitive and behavioural neurology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), Adelaide. She was also affiliated with the University of Adelaide, Department of Medicine and the South Australian brain rehabilitation services at the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. At RAH she studied the problems of hallucinations in people with Parkinsons Disease, violent behaviours in sleep (REM behaviour disorders), memory impairment, problems of mobility in patients with Downs Syndrome, and respiratory problems in people with neurodegenerative diseases.

I had visited Dr Anu Agarwal for a migraine problem in 2012. This was my very first consultaion. I did find her to be experienced. Also as she is a permanent doctor at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital the consultation fee is very high.
She hear to my problem and was able to zero down on the issue. However, it was not fixed. She prescribed some medicines and said to visit in few weeks again. My issue was a not a frequently occurring but it was random. In two weeks it did not occur again. So when I met Dr Anu Agarwal again she just claimed it is solved and I am cured. However, in few weeks later it happened again.
Since I did not find Dr Anu Agarwal experienced I decided to consult another doctor. I would recommend to visit the most experience doctor from the neurologist in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. I was actually going to consult another doctor but was not able to get a appointment. Instead the receptionist recommended Dr Anu Agarwal. It was personally of not use to me. I wasted my time and money.

I had aching heels and foot for sometime and decided to go to a neuro to understand if its related to neuro. Eventually it turned out to be a Vitamin B12 deficiency. However, Dr. Anu Agarwal started with "I suspect MS (Mutliple Sclerosis)" and you should go for MRI and 4 other tests, one of which was Vitamin B12.
And she scared us enough by telling this on our face, without any positive tests or major symptoms and to top it all, she also said, "You are better off than the last patient who I told he was going to die"

I took my father to meet her at Kokilaben. BTW her fees are 2000 not 1500 as listed on practo.Her assistant was patient and took detailed case history. But when we met her she paid no attention to what my father was saying, treated my mother very condescendingly and prescribed 3 tests. She did not read the reports that my mother was trying to show her off our previous neurologist who is no longer consulting. My father is in his late 80s, a dementia patient and at this point we were just looking for symptomatic relief. But she would not prescribe anything until we got 3 tests done. Very disappointed by the condescending and dismissive attitude.

Very rude, discourteous, not providing details of patient correctly. You have to beg her assistants to get details, who are also afraid of her. Relatives and attendants are in mental torture due to her attitude. God save from her.
