Dr. Altamash Shaikh

Dr. Altamash Shaikh completed his MBBS and is a state ranker from Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health and Sciences. He then obtained a DNB in General Medicine through Mumbai Port Trust Hospital in 2007, and topped this up with a DNB in Endocrinology through P D Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, in 2011. During the years of his studies, internship and residency, Dr. Shaikh gained experience at several hospitals around the country, including Civil Hospital (Bijapur), Bombay Hospital (Mumbai), Mumbai Port Trust Hospital, LTMG Hospital (Mumbai), KEM Hospital (Mumbai), PGI (Chandigarh), and P D Hinduja Hospital (Mumbai).He has actively participated at national and international workshops, training programmes and conferences to enhance his knowledge and skills, and is also involved in teaching medical students(undergraduates and post graduates), family physicians and paramedical staff. Dr. Altamash Shaikh frequently organises Diabetes education programmes, and actively involved in setting up the Diabetic Clinic. Over the years, several of his research efforts have culminated in co-authored articles and is also reviewer in peer-reviewed journals and/or presentations and talks at various national and international scientific conferences.
