I underwent a complex surgery 'Lap Heller's Cardiomyotomy' for Achalasia performed by Dr. Abhijit Joshi and was under his supervision for 8 days (pre and post surgery).It is a rare disorder making it difficult for food and liquid to pass into the stomach.Achalasia results from damage to nerves in the food tube (oesophagus), preventing the oesophagus from squeezing food into the stomach. It may be caused by an abnormal immune system response.Symptoms include a backflow of food in the throat (regurgitation), chest pain and weight loss. (it's a complex situation - far simpler to read than to understand). But doctor Abhijit Joshi is nothing less than a miracle in my life. He is literally god sent.I have never seen / met a doctor like him. He is amongst those doctors who invest enough time in their patients and no matter how many questions you ask him, he will always be ready to answer those with a smile and utmost patience.He knows his subject well and the kind of experience he carries can be seen on him and via his words as well.I can't thank you enough for the special and excellent care that you have provided. My wife has undergone surgery, she had acute infection in the appendix there was surgery done on appendix we were under the supervision of Dr. Abhijit Joshi for almost 3months. Experience was very good, she is perfectly ok now,things went really well. I would refer the doctor to other people. I have been going and doing all this treatment or undergoing the doctor for whatever treatment is required in Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital. It's been almost 3 years I have not faced any issues so far. The services are very good and I would like to continue to visit the hospital.

Excellent! Dr Joshi in Feb 2019, removed a 3 inch lump from my back I never had to seek any medical attention. That is why I took my wife Rema to him to get rid of a growth in her armpit,which was very painful. The whole procedure lasted less than half hour.

I had consulted the doctor as I had fistula issue. Consultation was good by the doctor. I would like to recommend this doctor to other people if anyone asks. Observation was done. There was no waiting time in the hospital. Staff were very cooperative.
