Dr. Astha Jain

Dr. Astha Jain, is an experienced ophthalmologist practicing in Mumbai (Chembur, Mazgaon and Dadar). She specializes in performing cataract surgeries as well as in treating retinal disorders of the eye such as diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration and retinal detachment. She has been bestowed with JRD Tata Scholarship and Ratan Tata Scholarship. She is also a recipient of Prof. Yasuo Tano Travel Grant in APAO-AIOS 2013. She is also well versed with all the latest imaging modalities in retina including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), fundus angiography (FFA & ICG) and ultrasonography of the eye. She has several publications in national and international journals to her credit. Dr. Astha has also authored a book titled "Cutting Edge Vitreoretinal Surgery".
