Dr. Arnav H. Tongaonkar completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He completed his DM in Medical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, one of the Apex Cancer Care centers in Asia. He has further received an ESMO certification in Medical Oncology, MRCP-Speciality Certificate in Medical Oncology and a Harvard Medical School Certification in Immuno-Oncology.He is a member of ASCO, ESMO, ANZUP and ISMPO. He has gained a variety of work experience across various sub-specialities of Oncology, including state of the art treatments like Immunotherapy and Targeted Therapies. He has made scientific presentations at various International and National meetings. He has over 12 research publications in International peer reviewed journals. He was also a frontline worker during the Covid Pandemic at KEM Hospital, Kasturba Hospital, Seven Hills Hospital and TMH. He is passionate for patient advocacy and outreach. He was inspired on the path of Oncology by his father, Dr. Hemant B. Tongaonkar, one of the senior-most Surgical Oncologists in India.
