Dr. Alaknanda Pai

There is a term in this line of practice,"genuine doctors" and I tell you from my own experience that Dr Alaknanda is one of them. She has empathetic listening skills along with holistic approach of prognosis is excellent. Focus on nutrition and lifestyle is something she emphasises a lot as opposed to doctors who are in a hurry to fill their prescription pads. I visited her clinic with my wife as we both wished to consult a Dr for hair and skin. I have already recommended her to my friends and I feel obliged to recommend her. Thank you Dr.

We were in panic mode when we took an appointment. We had been taking treatment from another doctor in Mulund for about 15 days and my daughter had not got any relief. In fact things had gotten even more bad. When we stepped into the doctors clinic, we were surprised to see her. She looked like a teenager. But she took a lot of effort. She cleaned up the affected area and applied medication; something the other doctor never did in all the 4 visits we made to her clinic. Dr. Alakananda patiently listened to everything we had to say and asked a lot of questions. She was really concerned and keen to ensure quick recovery. She spent about an hour with us. Her fees were only Rs. 400 which was hardly anything compared to the other doctors fees. Now my daughters problem has been taken care. We are very grateful to Dr. Alakananda. I have just begun medication so I can't really comment on how effective it is. Will write a review about it in three months' time.

The reason I believe that her meds will work is because she was receptive, she listened to the symptoms, investigated for what she was looking for, and even explained the purpose of each and every medicine.

I am definitely going to come back to her for advice.

I have been to dr. Alaknanda Pai many times. She charges so less compared to all the dermatologists. Her consultation fees is only 400rs. The consultation and the time she gives to the patient is what i like. She will understand all the problem and the root cause. Her prescribed medicines are also not at all expensive and lower on the pocket. I consulted her for pcod related acne n scars, hairfall and lice. My skin has become really good although the scars wont fade completely, they have reduced in appearance.

I'm glad I consulted Dr. Alaknanda for my Mom's treatment. She just didn't consult, but also explained the problem, the treatment course, sources for diagnosis at reasonable price and next steps to take this forward. Highly professional yet pretty welcoming.
