Hearing impairment is one of the most common physical disability in the industrialized world. And if not treated at an early age in children can lead to severe social & communication deficits. SHADES (Speech Hearing and Deaf Education services) Center of Excellence, is an early Intervention Center where a complete rehabilitation will be provided with Audiologist, Speech Therapist, Auditory Verbal Therapist, Psychologist and a Special Educator working in congruence. The aim of the center is to help patients with impaired communication skills, Hearing loss and lead them to live normal life. The Center is equipped with all modern Equipments and standardized testing environment needed for Audiological assessment and management of patients (Pediatrics and Adult) with Speech, Hearing and Swallowing difficulties. Our Highly experienced team assess and provides treatments for speech, Language, Voice and Swallowing Disorders. Intensive speech and language stimulation to pediatric patients aid them to achieve speech and language developmental milestones corresponding to their age matched peers. The Center also offers an extensive education for Cochlear implant recipients or BAHA recipients to develop their language of communication and reading at an age appropriate rate. The center provides accessories for Hearing Aid and Cochlear Implant.
