I suffered from a prolapsed disk in my lower back earlier this year and for months consulted multiple Orthopedic surgeons and tried all treatment options from physical therapy to getting nerve blocks but nothing worked and I was left bed bound unable to move an inch without pain. That is when got introduced to Dr Rahul Rane. After talking to him, I immediately had a sense of convincing comfort and decided to undergo surgery for my back as recommended by him and as the last option having exhausted all other available avenues of treatment. By the time of my surgery, i was completely confined to my bed due to unbearable pain and forget walking, i could not even sit or stand for more than a minute even with support. But within a week after Dr.Rahul operated on me, I started walking my way towards recovery! Within a fortnight since the surgery, not only am I able to walk fine without support, I have gradually been able to get back to my daily chores. He is one of those very few Surgeons (and I consulted with a lot of them!) who really listens to his patients, thoroughly understands the entire problem and gives the perfect diagnosis and takes time to explain all options and prognosis. I am sure that had I reached out to him at an earlier stage, he would’ve helped me recover without even undergoing a surgery. Even post surgery, despite his busy schedule, he humbly offers to answer all concerns in every followup appointments. Dr.Rahul Rane treated my mother Age 78 years for her hip bone fracture recently at Raksha Andheri Hospital. Dr is very friendly with my mother to boost her confidence during pre and post surgery period .She was able to walk immediately next day after surgery on 27th Feb.Dr sir expertise known to all his patients ,thier relatives .Even after discharge ,with his busy schedule he is available for consultation, guidance to my mother further treatment. I know Dr sir for last 5 years for my own Spondlysis treatment, So decided to do mother hip Surgery by him only ,due to trust and his experience, expertise. This pandemic my back side neck swelled up with pain,gradually my pain grew up with fever & very less neck movement. Fortunnately I met a Doctor Rahul Rane MS Orthopedic via practco. Trust me, I can only say very clean, clear, genuinie humble person who treated me so well in terms of test, medicine & positivity. I was in huge pain due pus formation inside neck but he kept me posiitve. He recomended very good Diaginistic center in Mumbai Andheri.

Simply I can say, he is a gud , Sincere & fast descision maker regarding all kind of imp tests & prescribe very less & geniuine medicine to the point.

now at present i have no pain, only few medicine courses are left.

Doctor is really professional and friendly but the staff is not helpful or friendly at all. We had to wait almost half an hour before Dr could see us and the staff was least concerned about this. The security guard at the gate was also rude with my wife and overall it didn’t leave a positive experience. I would meet Dr Rane at the other locations he practices in but not in Raksha Hospital. And yes, there is too much traffic to reach the hospital as well.
