Osartus - Superspecialty Orthopaedic Clinic, Mulund West

An appointment was given at 8.30 p.m. On reaching the clinic at 8.15 pm, I was informed that there are many patients before me and I will have to wait. The place was full with people and just 1 chair left to sit. On enquiring the waiting time, he mentioned that the earliest the doctor will see me is after 9.30 pm. He was not even clear on this timing. 4 SMSs were received from Practo at the time of booking the appointment on 11 January. 1 SMS was received on the morning of the appointment reminding and confirming the same. However, there was no intimation on the delays. The events made me wonder regarding the commitment from Doctors/ clinic towards patients. Why give appointments if you cannot honour it. One does expect slight delays. But over an hour and that too uncertain time with no place for accompanying persons to sit is ridiculous.

On the other hand, It was a torture driving down from Thane in the heavy traffic. The parking is always full. Parked about a Km away and walked. For persons reading this - recommend not to drive there. Take other means of transport.

I was referred to Dr. Nayak by my physio friend for my mother. She was suffering from severe pain in both the knees, and was unable to walk short distances. She was depressed as she was just 49 years old when we first consulted Dr. Nayak.

Dr. Nayak explained the entire treatment and gave us a very good idea about the surgery. He answered all our queries very patiently and gave us a timeline for her recovery. My mother underwent her first knee replacement from Dr. Nayak almost 2 years ago, and she recovered very rapidly. We were very happy with her recovery, her bent leg became straight, her pain became less.

We are happy to have got her other knee operated 2 months ago, now my mother has started walking without support and is happy again. Many thanks to Dr. Nayak.

I have visited Dr. ravi 3 times up till now. I had a extremely bad experience during my last visit to Dr. Ravi @ Osartus , Mulund clinic.

The appointment was scheduled at 07.45 pm, I was asked to wait without informing about the time it would take more. After waiting for more than 1.5 hours , the reception operator says that there are still 4 persons before your turn comes. He had allowed others who were even without any prior appointment.

Now Coming to the problem, it is still unresolved and now I will have to look for some other doctor under this specialty domain.

System is srewed up. They mix up random appointments. The person at the reception messed up everything and made us wait for a longer time. Initially he told you are the third to go then said you are the sixth saying that Thane appointments got mixed up with mulund. Totally unethical and not recommended to visit
