Dr Ranawat's Clinic, Colaba

The map location of the clinic is wrong. I spent quite some time in hunting. The clinic is not easily visible or locatacle even from outside the building it is in. Had to call. up twice for directions. I was told that the doctor will be in by 10 am and he arrived after 11 am. That too on a Monday morning!!!Prescribed expensive *** *********** medicines. paracetamol worth Rs. 64 and multivitamins Rs. 450 for 10 tabs. Not very communicative and no proactive explanation, I had to ask all the questions. Was in a hurry, did not explain the prescription, had to understand from the pharmacist.

The doctor was extremely warm and friendly and suggested a very good economical blood test that helped me have a complete blood routine done at a low cost and could see what was wrong in other areas of my health not just the ear ache that I had gone to him for.

I had a prior appointment with Dr. Jayesh at 2pm. It took me 30 minutes to locate the clinic as noone in the vicinity was aware about its existence but when i expressed the same to the man at the reception he seemed quite unperturbed. he called the doctor and told me that he will reach within 5 mins. after 50 mins of waiting i asked him, he said he will come within 10 mins. then some random staff came and asked me to do tests as according him the doctor will recommend so. i refused to do anything before meeting the doctor. after waiting for 1 hour 10 mins i left. i had asked them to call. after 15mins they called me but i didnt go back as i didnt feel like paying so much after waiting for over. the staff was not at all apologetic for the delay and they all seemed so indifferent about our existence and they did not even have the courtesy to inform me that Dr. Jayesh wont be available, not even the doctor himself.

Polite and friendly, just how a doctor should be. He also has the patience to listen and give advice accordingly.

Explained the issue simply, explaining the causes behind the pain. Besides the medicine, he inquired about my lifestyle and gave suitable recommendations.

**** ***** ********** Doctor made me understand both the procedures before initiating treatment which helped me to choose what is best for me. Very much friendly while proceeding. Got me out of worrysome situation in minutes. I can happily enjoy my travel for next 10 days now. Thank you Doc.

Would want him to open a clinic in suburb as well if possible.

At current place the staff is very cooperative and could see patient resting place neat and clean.

Only issue is with parking like typical SOBO locations.

Quick and thorough diagnosis and great treatment offered.

Positive attitude and confidence of the doctor and friendly staff would make you feel better as well.
