Soon after I got married, I visited Dr. Roshu’s clinic which was very close to our home for birth control advice. She was warm, approachable and patient. In that one appointment, I had decided- whenever I have a baby, it will be with this doctor!
And that’s exactly what happened. We visited her before conception and through the pregnancy, and she was extremely supportive. We appreciated the fact that she was always available on the phone for the multiple tiny concerns you have during the nine months. She guided me to Lamaze/ and yoga classes, and continuously advocated a healthy lifestyle. She avoided unnecessary scans and tests but kept a constant tab on my progress.
During delivery she (and her paediatrician husband) made me comfortable and confident. Post delivery she made sure I recovered quickly. Dr. Roshu is professional yet makes you feel like she’s a friend. She gives apt advice to mothers and makes all caregivers part of the process. I would say do not think twice before signing up with her, you’ll be well taken care of.

When it comes to pregnancy care, an easy and trusted relationship with the doctor is most important. I am fortunate to have found that in Dr. Roshu. She is invested in the patient and makes it is a point to explain things and bring you to comfort. Unnecessary mediction or tests are not encouraged. Always accessible, she made my pregnancy a memorable one despite some of the medical situations we faced.
