Dr Shrikant graduated MBBS from the BJ medical college in Pune. He subsequently obtained his diploma in orthopedics from the prestigious Madurai medical college; one of the oldest government institutions in India and the alma matter of a line of surgical stalwarts. During the training, he recognized his aptitude for surgical and rehabilitative treatment of the spine. He subsequently ranked among the top 10 in the National Board entrance examination and chose Indian Spinal Injuries centre [New Delhi] - a tertiary referral centre for spine surgeries and rehabilitation- as his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) institute. After obtaining his DNB he was inducted as a member in the National Academy of Medical Sciences [MNAMS]. He gained further academic experience as an assistant professor at the Kamineni medical college in Nalgonda. Subsequently, he then went on to secure a rank in the top merit list for the National Board of Examination accredited spine fellowships [FNB]; the only MCI recognized fellowship in India. He chose MIOT International [Chennai], an apex institution for spine and orthopedic surgery for the FNB. He has 7 years of experience and expertise in treating the entire spectrum of neck and back problems including anterior surgeries, tumors, deformity correction, spinal TB and revision surgeries. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgeries. He keeps on updating himself by attending CMEs, conferences and training courses regularly.

I Thank from my heart, Dr. Srikanth Ega, for making me walk again. I am 35 years old and It's been 2 months since the surgery. Now I am able to walk freely without any pain. Meeting / Discussing with Dr. Srikanth and proceeding with spine surgery was the best decision in my confused situation. After looking at reviews I have approached Dr. Srikanth Ega as I was suffering from severe back pain. Dr. has patiently listened to my problems and the following treatments were suggested keeping the age factor in mind
1. Treatment with tablets and exercises (as dr. was trying his best to avoid surgery)
2. Microdiscectomy (if tablets were ineffective then surgery is recommended)
He has given ample amount of time with treatment 1 but the pain was increasing rapidly and unable to walk. Hence I sat with dr. to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the surgery. He has patiently answered all my queries and instructed me to follow Do's and Dont's post-surgery. Surgery was performed in Citizens hospital under Dr. Srikanth along with Dr. Abhilash and Dr.Jonathan. I thank all the Dr. and Citizens crew in this pandemic time to put me back on my feet.

We went with ambiguity keeping doctor's age in mind but he proved us wrong...amazing person with **** **** **********.he explained very clearly about my spine issues just by asking body movements..suggested exercises and also asked to take only if pain gets high..i feel good relief after the exercise..i thank u very much dr srikanth..i highly recommed everybody to visit him for all your spine and ortho issues
