I had an extremely disappointing and disheartening experience with Dr. Sarika Bisariya. As someone seeking support during a challenging time, I trusted her to provide a safe, professional environment to process my emotions. Unfortunately, she completely violated that trust.
In the middle of an emotionally intense moments of our session, where I was deeply vulnerable and in tears, she abruptly cut me off—not to offer support or understanding—but to coldly inform me of an increase in her fees, stating she would charge $120 AUD going forward because of her location. **** ************ *** *** **** ********** ************** *** **** **** * ******** ********* *** ** ********* ***** *** *** ***** * *** ****** ** *****
To make matters worse, when I later spoke to her receptionist to clarify the charges, the fee had inexplicably increased further to $120 USD from $120 AUD. This sudden and arbitrary change in pricing feels exploitative, especially considering the sessions were conducted online, and I had already made significant adjustments to accommodate her timezone.
Considering that medicine is a noble profession built on trust and care, her actions reflect a shocking lack of empathy and basic sympathy. This lack of transparency, professionalism, and compassion is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone against seeking care from Dr. Sarika Bisariya if you value integrity, respect, and understanding in therapy.
