Dr Annie is a brilliant doctor and to add to this also her beautiful nature with her patients . She is always very welcoming and a superb diagnostic . I have now known her for years and she is my go to person for any dermatology problems for me and my kids . She very patiently explains the problems and advises long term solutions . Dear Priyanka...thank you for your feedback. Firstly, it’s unfortunate that you’re questioning my qualifications and degrees, as my certifications are published online and also available at my clinic on request. You have also wrongly indicated that you had sought my advice for acne/ scar treatment. Please note that the medication prescribed to you was decided on the basis of your long-standing clinical condition, severity of disease and frequent recurrences despite trying various medicines in the past . Accordingly, in my assessment it was important to prescribe the said medicine to you in order to effectively treat your condition. Whilst I agree that it’s a doctor’s responsibility to enquire about the relevant history (and which I do with all my patients), however it’s also the patient’s equal responsibility to reveal their history, esp. plans to get married or conceive, and on going medicines for other illnesses, in which case we decide to prescribe medication not solely based on the severity of the disease. Moreover, when you came for your second visit and revealed about your marriage plans, I immediately advised you to stop the medicine and take necessary precautions and care to prevent further recurrences of your disease. Further, I also assured you that the dosage taken by you for mere 4 days is not a matter of concern. A doctor’s primary objective is only to improve their patient’s condition, and so was mine. Wishing you a quick recovery from your illness !!
