Yellowish teeth
My teeth have been turned yellowish for some time now. Is there any way to make them whiter with natural methods or with any homemade remedies.

Teeth whitening can be done in few cases. So my advice would be to contact dentist and consult regarding whether it is appropriate for you. It is a pretty non invasive cosmetic treatment which can recur after few months to an year depending on your food habits and various other factors.

Teeth form a layer called plaque everyday and this needs to be removed by brushing. Sometimes when we are unable to remove plaque in certain areas it gets calcified and becomes hard yellow deposits on teeth...known as calculus. These deposits now cannot be brushed away but need a dental procedure called scaling. Once it is done you can continue to maintain until it gets built up again after 6 months to a year. If u don't have deposits but just minor staining due to tea or coffee u can try baking soda or rubbing a banana peel. Doing this on a regular basis may cause sensitivity.

You can visit a dentist nearby. Ultrasonic cleaning along with bleaching would help only after thorough examination.

It is better to go for bleaching of teeth under your dentist’s supervision as it is safer. Home remedies may be too harsh and may damage the enamel
