Common cause of yellow teeth is stains and plaque and calculus, which can be removed with professional help...sometimes our drinking water  has large amount of fluoride which cause yellow teeth but that is natural and no need to change that....still if u feel for changing your teeth color then u have options of bleaching theeth with LASER with no side effects or u can get veeners on your front teeth...

the cause of yellow teeth is multifactorial, but they can be treated permanently irrespective of the cause.  bleaching as an option is good, the latest materials are improved and have little or no side effects. the drawback being that the colour change is not permanent. The more permanent option would be to go for veneers. it requires slight reduction of the tooth suface. a clinical assessment is definitely required to see which option  is viable in the given situation
