I’ve noticed blood when brushing my teeth today so after inspecting my mouth, I found the roof of my mouth to be yellow, whilst the inside of my cheeks are the usual pink colour.

Bleeding while brushing could be an early sign of gum disease or incorrect use of toothbrush. Regarding the roof of the mouth, your observation seems to be unuasual
