Wound in gums?
Hi! All of a sudden there is something like a small wound in my gums above one of my teeth. (See the attached photo). It hurts when brush my teeth, but not much otherwise. Could this be because of food or something? Will it go away by itself?

It seems like injury to gums or gum receding in that particular tooth. Need full history and better photographs to guide you properly. Warm saline water rinses two to three times a day, use mouthwash, use soft bristle toothbrush. Still have queries then please consult with doctor online or offline for better guidance and treatment options.

Hi. The picture is a little unclear. If you could attach a clearer picture it would be great. There is a little swelling over the gum of that one tooth but it's not specific. Do warm salt water gargles twice to thrice a day.
Next Steps
Upload a clear picture OR visit a dentist in person.
