Wisdom tooth
One of my friends is having pain in his mouth. There is an infection in his mouth near the wisdom tooth which causes pain and he is unable to eat.

Wisdom teeth is one that fails to erupt in its position in the given period of time..It is the extra teeth not using for eating and speaking purpose
Consequence of wisdom teeth:
**Pericoronitis
**Bad breathe due to food lodgement
**Trismus
**Jaw sorenesss
**Bleeding from gums
You need to go for complete removal of teeth followed by analgesics and antibiotics

Namaskaram, it could most likely be an infection involving the wisdom tooth or the one before it. An xray will help the dentist find out the cause. don't delay or it may spread.

This is pericronitis
If pericronitis is severe, the swelling and infection may extend beyond the jaw to cheeks and neck
Visit a near by dentist for complete evaluation

This infection may be due to food lodgement around wisdom tooth it causes inflammation that is called pericornitis.
Next Steps
Go to near by dentist for proper evaluation and get x-ray done.if this problem occuring again and again then you should go for removal of wisdom tooth.

do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day for 3 days it will help to reduce the pain and also help to flush out food lodgement around wisdom tooth.
