You can take a pain killer for now and visit a dentist as early as possible .
The tooth pops up, making its way in the oral cavity by tearing the gums.
The dentist will remove the tooth surrounding gums which will help in relieving the pain and the area for multiplication of bacterias on the stuck food debris in the irregular gum margin, which is causing the pus and infection.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist and get an insight of the complete protocol.

Hello there!
This is a case of Pericoronitis. The flap of gum tissue above your wisdom tooth causes food lodgement which leads to development of pus in that area.
Next Steps
-Gargles with lukewarm salt water will help in reducing pus & swelling.
-Use Hexigel ointment on that area twice a day for 15 days
-Get an X-ray done of that area to know the position of the tooth.
-Get the tooth extracted as early as possible to avoid similar conditions in the future
Health Tips
Do not apply a warm pack or any balm on that area.
If you are experiencing pain due to the growth of your wisdom tooth and suspect the presence of pus in the area, it is important to see a dentist as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can take over-the-counter pain medications such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen to manage the pain. Applying a cold compress to the affected area can also provide temporary relief. It is also advisable to avoid hard or chewy foods that can aggravate the pain. Once you see your dentist, they can provide you with appropriate treatment and advice on how to manage the pain and discomfort.
Hi this condition is called pericoronitis.
Since the wisdom tooth is impacted and trying to pierce the tissues and come out pain and inflammation is there.
Build up of inflammatory fluid or pus happens when food debris gets accumulated there.
Dos:
Use chlorhexidine ads mouthwash, it is antibacterial thus helps to reduce inflammation.
Even bettadine rinses or irrigation with a syringe in that area would bring some relief.
Start antibiotics on doctors advice if there is pain along with the swelling.
Topical application of local anaesthetic gel or dologel.
Get an operculectomy ( procedure that is done to cut the flap covering the wisdom tooth)done.
Don'ts:
Avoid hot spicy and hard food as it may trigger pain and increase inflammation.
Don't apply balms from outside.
Don't use clove oil or clove or garlic.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist, get an assessment and xray.
Getting an operculectomy done would be the best solution.
If there is no relief even after that please get an extraction.
