Hello If it is resolvable stitches then you need not remove but if it’s non resolvable then you have to visit the dentist for removal

If they are Absorbable sutures, then it is okay to if it is not removed, but would still advise you to remove it after 1 week to 10 days. But if they are non-absorbable sutures, then it is advisable to remove it after 1 week. There will be minimal to no pain during suture removal.
