Wisdom teeth usually erupt between age group 17-25 yrs. Sometimes they do erupt little later also. Pain or discomfort is due to two reasons 1.if well aligned its the pain of tooth Eruption, that can be managed with a mild pain killer and warm salt water rinses. 2.in case they are tilted or malaligned which they mostly are, they should be taken off. -they get carious causing more problems and pain -they cause the tooth in front of them to get damaged too. -sometimes facial swelling and difficulty in swallowing and eating. Hi if it’s not coming in proper direction .. u get d teeth removed.. .. brush vigorously in that area.. n do warm water gargling.. n keep d area clean .. it will give u temporary relief

If the x-ray shows that the tooth is malaligned then the tooth needs to be extracted. Do not neglect to take x-ray and check because it will damage the tooth in front of it if it is malaligned
