Hi,
I am facing wisdom teeth pain and due to this lock down all dental clinics are closed as my area is contaminated zone.
Tooth is popping up and facing pain on jaw side. Please recommend some pain killer medicines to heal the pain as of now.
Once dental clinics are open will get this sorted out.
Please help!!!!

Tab combiflam is very good in this type of pain...still if it persists..then send some clear pics of that region so it will be helpful for me to prescribe you the best possible medicine and remedies...

Pain in the wisdom tooth can be because :
1) infected/decayed wisdom tooth
2) impacted and causing push like sensation to adjacent teeth and bone.
3) pericoronitis.
Treatment would differ according to the situation.
Safe pain killer is paracetamol 500 mg, maximum 4 times a day.

Take proper tele consultation with your dentist, if you cannot visit him. Discuss all the condition and share images and take treatment accordingly.
Wisdom teeth pain comes in bouts every now and then unless taken treatment for.
As of now take Tab Combiflam or Tab ketrol Dt Sos
Warm salt water rinses as many times as possible
Keep the tooth region clean after every meal.
As of now take these medications
Rx
Tab Augmentin 625mg BD
Tab Metrogyl 400 mg TDS
Tab Diclomol BD
Tab Pan 40 OD
Tab Ketorol DT. SOS (in case of severe pain)
All for 5days
The tooth lacks space or it is not coming out in proper position creating the pain and infection and also the food lodgement in that area.

Visit a dentist whenever possible, as clinical and radio graphical examination is required to proceed with further treatment plan
Health Tips
Use betadine mouthwash 3-4 times a day
Warm salt water rinses will also help
Maintain oral hygiene (brush twice)
Rinse ur mouth every time u eat anything and try keeping the infected area clean
Alcohol not to be taken with Tab metrogyl
It should be an impacted wisdom tooth. It wont erupt anymore . Need to take an x ray for the proper execution of treatment. Visit dentist as early as possible and get it treated. Until then use the following medication for pain relief.
Tab augmentin 625mg 1-0-1 x 5 days after food
Tab ornidazole 500mg 1-0-1 × 5days after food
Tab ketrol Dt 10mg 1-1-1x 5days after food
Tab pan D 1-0-0 x 5 days before food

1. visit dentist as early as possible
2. do warm salt water gargling 5 to 6 times a day.
3. medication is only for temporary pain relief for permanent solution visit a dentist.
4. Donot use medication for more than 5 days if pain doesnot subside or increases visit a dentist.
5. if found any allergic symptoms stop the medication and visit a doctor.

1. take soft diet mainly juices and lots of water.
2. dont take too hot r spicy food.
3. dont chew anything on that side
