hello,
you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. the best treatment for a wisdom tooth is to get it removed. if you have pain, you can do warm salt water rinses, this will give you temporary relief from pain.

Better to visit a Oral surgeon or Oral Medicine and radiologist. If they suspect something like a precancerous lesion then you can get a biopsy done for the same
Don't get scared, your age doesn't correlate with the eruption of the wisdom tooth, and even then if you are not convinced then go to any competent dentist and get a BIOPSY done for your mental peace
Next Steps
Don't worry
Health Tips
Take another opinion from an oral medicine or oral pathologist or oral surgeon doctor
First you hav to get few diagnostic xrays done to see the severity of the wisdom tooth placed .
Sometimes, the position of wisdom tooth can cause cheek biting which can in turn form lesions or thickening of the area.
In any case you need to stick to one doctor and do all the diagnosis and if needed some tests too.
Also as you mentioned your age as 16 , wisdom tooth erupts at 18 and above , so go to the nearest Dental centre and get a thorough check up done.
Most of the dentist if given same opinion means it's may not be precancerous lesions but safer side consult once oral pathologist if u have any smoking or gutkha chewing habits
Hello, I don't think it is such a serious condition. Some dentists cannot diagnose well :-) request you to please visit a good dentist - MDS - oral medicine and radiology.
He / she will be able to diagnose well.
Hi,
1. Don't rush up into diagnosis by yourselves
2. Precancerous lesions are not always related to wisdom tooth
3. Even a clinical diagnosis cannot confirm if it's a precancerous lesion without taking biopsy
4. If most of the dentist said it's coz of wisdom teeth why don't you follow his treatment plans ??
6. Do not worry or b scared
Blue black lesions can be due to various reasons. Your age and lack of tobacco habits does not relate to cancers to that extent. A thorough examination and diagnostic tests can give us an indication of what the lesion is. Please visit a Oral pathologist to get a proper diagnosis.
