Hello mam,        Hope you are better now. Please do go for extraction of your wisdom tooth and filling of the nearby molar tooth as said by your dentist. Filling of deep cavity in molar may not be successful and stitching is not mandatory but it ll be decided upon the space left after extraction.

A filling can be done if the decay is superficial. If it is deep you may require a root canal and if the decay is extremely bad an extraction may be needed. Sometimes wisdom teeth also need to be extracted if it has not erupted properly in alignment and is difficult to restore or may cause harm to adjacent teeth. An X ray would help in further diagnosing and giving you a better suggestion. Stitches may be needed to help in the site healing properly
Next Steps
Getting an X-ray would be helpful in diagnosing better.

Hie.. Do u have an X-ray of that wisdom tooth?? It is erupted fully?? Or half impacted?? If there is a small cavity.. then u can go for filling.. If it’s totally decayed or impacted in the bone.. then removal of wisdom tooth is the gud idea.. since it won’t help in chewing.. plus it will decay other teeth too., Dont worry it won’t be painful since it will be anesthetised .. and stitches won’t hurt.. there would be some discomfort but don’t worry
