White tissue at wisdom teeth
I can see some white tissue formation at the location where lower wisdom teeth are situated.
I was suffering from pain there for a few months when the dentist gave me pain killers.
But there is no pain there today, but that white tissue really seems concerning.
On the right side, it bleeds sometimes while brushing. Do I need to get it extracted?
I've been a smoker for the past few years and quit recently.

This tissue is indication enough that you should get the tooth extracted since it has erupted inside your gums which is not a normal position.
It’s creating a definite gum problem for you at the very basic level.
Next Steps
-Lukewarm salt water gargles 30 minutes after every meal.
-A baby brush that has soft bristles and can reach the most posterior parts of your mouth.

-Apply ice over the affected area at least twice a day for 3-5 days.
-Avoid hot and spicy food.

Impacted teeth usually tends to apply pressure on the overlying soft tissue, which is your gums. When this happen, it’ll result in 2 things.
1. Pericoronitis/ inflammation of the gums over the impacted tooth
2. Fibrosis/ thickening of the gums over it which might look whitish.
Best thing would be to consider removal of the impacted wisdom tooth as it might cause future problems with such presentation.

It can be due to partial eruption of your wisdom tooth. The mass covering your tooth must be causing pain or bleeding while chewing. U can go for removal of the mass covering the tooth or u can go for extraction. Consult at clinic and after xray treatment can be decided.
