Whey protein for women
My question is regarding consumption of protein powder. I am 24 years old and skinny. I recently started hitting gym. But i figured i cant eat eggs(used to eat 2 or 3 eggs a day) because i have been developing acnes on my chest and back. Since i am doing strength exercises, i have been asked to consume more food containing protein and also suggested tht i take protein powder. I am 49 kgs and 5 ft 4 inches in height. Since i cant consume eggs only option is protein powder. Is it safe as i am a woman? Any sideeffects ? I bought GNC's 100% whey protein yesterday. I thought i will take a small scoop with milk evryday after gym? Will this possibly affect my body in the long run. I stopped eating eggs because of acnes. I just want to know if whey protein is safe for women if consumed in small quantities. :( I want to gain weight but safely without any sideeffect. I read a few articles on internet which says its safe for women to take protein powder. I need a second opinion though.

Hello, I got your query but I would suggest that before taking protien supplements consult any professional sports nutritionist because high protein can also damage kidney too. And what other diet schedule you have should also be look on. I hope this will help you out
