When can i bite with my rct tooth?
Hello.. I had a re rct done yesterday.. there was lot of pus that was drained. I have been asked to come back after 3 days. My problem is that I cannot bite at all with that Tooth. Also, I am having random pains after having food.. the pulsating pain is gone But there is still some pressure left How long will it take?

Hello Pain after RCT is common. It will subside in 2-3 days. Also, during the next visit you can tell your dentist to reduce the high points and till the treatment gets completed it is advised to eat from other side or atleast avoid to bite hard substances from that side. Hello sir, pain after RCT (post RCT) for 3-4 days is usually normal. As Dr already asked you to come for follow up after 3 days do take follow up of your treatment after 3 days(might be post endo restoration has still not done, usually if the patient is asymptomatic after RCT by waiting for 3-4 days then final restoration is usually done). Wait for a week even if it persists after taking antibiotics and pain killers then re visit the clinic.
