You need to consult good Ayurvedic Physician. After getting properly examined, knowing your prakruti ( body constitution) , knowing your exact level of digestive fire / Metabolic capacity ( Agni) then one may decide which medicines to be recommended.
On a general terms Brahmi is good nervine tonic. But one can not say in general whether Brahmi ghrut ( medicated ghee) is better or Medha vati is better . All these are formulations ( ghrut, vati and Rasayana) with Brahmi and many other Ayurvedic medicinal plants, so need to be chosen really very carefully and not so casually.
Appropriate diet according to your own body type ( Prakruti ) and specific Yogic practices will also help you to enhance not only of your brain wellness but your capacity and state of wellness of entire body and mind as well.
