Hello,
Congratulations on your motherhood journey!
Your body is still in a recovery phase, especially if it's c-section. You need to take care of yourself and not rush into harsh diets and workouts. Your body is still trying to go back to normal, and it needs up to a year for your hormones to go back to normal. So take slow and steady steps. Prioritize rest, medications (as prescribed by your doctor), and protein rich foods for recovery. You can do light walking 20-30 minutes a day, which is more than enough at this stage. Do not forget to maintain water levels.

I hope this helps!!
Good luck!!

Losing weight after a C-section is a slow and steady process that requires patience and gradual lifestyle changes.
-Focus on a balanced, nutrient-rich diet with adequate protein, whole grains (brown rice, oats, quinoa, millets), fruits (at least two servings in a day), vegetables (as salads with every meal), and healthy fats (in form of nuts like walnuts, almonds) to support recovery without compromising energy.
-Initially you can start with gentle activities like walking or brisk walking, progressing slowly to swimming, or strength training as approved by your doctor.
-Avoid crash diets and rapid weight loss, as these can affect healing and breastfeeding.
-Stomach fat reduction happens gradually with overall body fat loss combined with core-strengthening and cardio exercises when cleared by your healthcare provider.
-Make sure you are well hydrated and try to have at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep in a day for better results.

Congratulations on your little one! It's completely normal to still look 6â7 months pregnant after a C-sectionâhealing takes time.
Since it's been nearly 3 months and you're exclusively breastfeeding, you can start with gentle lifestyle changes now.
What You Can Do?
Balanced meals every 3â4 hours with good protein (dal, curd at room temperature), fiber (veggies, fruits), and healthy fats (nuts, seeds).
Hydrate well â at least 2.5â3 liters per day.
Begin with daily walks and deep core breathing (diaphragmatic breathing, pelvic tilts).
Weight Loss Goal:
Aim to lose around 0.5â1 kg per month initially. With consistent diet and activity, you can reach your pre-pregnancy weight (53 kg) soon after.

Hi
First of all congratulations and blessing to your baby and to you.
Coming to your question.
You delivered via c section therefore it takes 1.5-2months for healing to start after c section.
My advice for you would be:
(1) Exclusive breastfeeding as it helps both mother and child. As breastfeeding enhances calorie burn and it is equally beneficial to your baby.
(2) Include balanced diet regime in your routine which should include Protein (chicken fish eggs beans lentils tofu) to support tissue repair and milk production. Aim for 2-3 servings a day.
Carbs (whole grains, brown rice, whole wheat bread )
Fibres (oats, quinoa, seasonal fruits and vegetables)
Healthy fats ( nuts, seeds , avocado and olive oil).
Include ample amount of essential nutrients containing Calcium( dairy products, leafy vegetables, fortified plant based milk)
Iron ( iron rich food like red meat, legumes, pulses)
Keep yourself hydrated.
Next Steps
Prioritize self-care: Get enough rest avoid stress and do gentle exercises like pelvic tilts, short walk.
Use belly support belt which is very effective in reducing your postpartum belly.

Hello there,
Congratulations on becoming a mother.
Well it's quite common that after 2-3 months of delivery new mothers' focus shifts on her mummy tummy. Firstly I would suggest to be patient and enjoy this time with your baby as much as you can.
Secondly, coming to the main part. Have a slightly changed routine, make little achievable goals towards your health.
*start your day with jeera water or lemon water
* go for a walk even if it is 15 minutes, being present in nature and fresh air boosts good hormones in the body
*have sprouts salads daily before main meals
*have some protein in every meal like saute paneer, tofu scramble, sprouts, boiled chana, sattu, besan etc
*drink plenty of water
*limit excess laddoos and sweets
*don't be afraid to take ghee but moderation is key
*before going to bed do some breathing exercises to wind down
Hope this helps. Achieving one goal at a time and you will feel good. Weight loss and inch loss will follow.
Please follow this and let me know any further queries. I'll be happy to help.
