Weightloss in 2nd trimester
Hello I conceived at a weight of 86 kgs. I was in the process of losing weight when I conceived. In my 12th week my weight was 88 kgs. Today at my 13 week 4 days my weight is 85.85 kgs. I managed to lose it through dieting & walking guided by a dietitian. Should I continue losing weight ? Will it harm the baby??

Less weight gain should be your target now, not weight loss.

Whenever someone gets pregnant, the amount of weight gain that is correct depends on the pre pregnancy weight. So concentrate on how you can eat healthy and nutritious food and not gain too much additional weight than weight loss. Sweets, fried food, junk food and hotel food will increase weight at a rapid rate. Avoid these completely.
