Baby weights 2.5 kgs at 33 weeks
Hello, am 33 years old and 33 weeks 2 days pregnant (per LMP 23 jun). Yesterday I did my growth scan and growth of baby corresponding to 34 weeks 6 days been observed. Weight of baby is 2.5 kgs and amniotic fluid index 18.5. I have gained 2.6 kgs considered to my previous month. Until last month, I was gaining 1 kg hardly during 2nd trimester. Today per doctor advice checked sugar levels- RBS - 80.8 and 1 hr GCT 137. Lastly Jan 7th GCT read 122. Now doctor said it's borderline gdm and asked me to follow strict diet. Can I reduce baby Weight gain by following strict diet?

If borderline GDM is suspected as baby weight is more and liquor is also increased, you should follow strict diabetic diet.
