U have had a good weight gain. Rushing too fast to gain weight will have it's adverse effects also. For healthy weight gain take protein rich diet along with balanced diet with exercise.

You’ve made impressive progress in your weight gain journey, and gaining 9 kg over 5 months is commendable. It’s common for weight gain to plateau after an initial phase, especially as your body’s metabolism adapts. While your current calorie surplus (~1200 kcal/day) seems substantial, it may no longer be enough to stimulate further gains as your body weight increases. To continue healthy and muscular weight gain, you’ll need to: 1. Reassess your total daily caloric needs – As you gain weight, your maintenance calories increase, so your surplus needs to be adjusted accordingly. 2. Diversify your nutrient intake – While banana shakes with oats and peanuts are calorie-dense, your body also needs high-quality proteins (eggs, paneer, chicken, legumes), healthy fats (avocados, nuts, seeds), and complex carbohydrates (brown rice, sweet potatoes). 3. Include resistance training – To build muscular weight rather than fat, consistent strength training is essential. It also stimulates appetite and nutrient partitioning towards muscle gain. 4. Track your progress – Monitor your weight weekly, and adjust your diet incrementally (add 200–300 kcal/week if no weight gain is seen). 5. Check for underlying issues – If you’re not gaining despite proper intake and training, consider screening for nutrient malabsorption, thyroid function, or gastrointestinal issues. Consulting a physician and a certified nutritionist or sports dietitian can help tailor your plan for safe and sustained gains. Your goal of 12–15 kg in 4–5 months is ambitious, but with disciplined nutrition and training, gradual progress is achievable.
