Weight gain post surgery is most common as movements are restricted in post op phase.Get in touch with a good physiotherapist and dietician  to guide your mother in losing weight healthily and through regulated exercises considering her implant. Thanks and regards.

If u got treatment for weight gain then surgery is not good thing.  Any type of surgery take time to heal properly.  Do her gently exercise daily and dietary restrictions is also helpful in weight loss. Better to go with homeopathic medicine.
