Hypothyroidism and weight gain
Hi. I have Hypothyroidism for the past 5 years. I'm on medication. Recently, I have noticed that my weight isn't going down despite proper diet & exercise. When I travel abroad, I lose weight. But, when I return to India, I gain weight. Pls advise me, as to what I could do. Thank you.

For thyroid patients, a weight loss diet and home remedies include eating iodine-rich foods like seaweed and dairy, zinc-rich foods like oysters and nuts, and selenium-rich foods like Brazil nuts and fish, while avoiding soy, gluten, and processed foods, and trying home remedies like drinking green tea, taking ashwagandha, and practicing yoga and stress-reducing techniques.
