Its necessary to follow a healthy diet which has optimal amounts of first class proteins(dairy, eggs, chicken etc) reduced carbohydrates(white rice, poha etc) & healthy fats(walnuts, almonds etc) along with a structured exercise program that is balanced with weight training and cardio will surely help. Hormonal imbalance will slow down the rate of fat loss, be consistent and patient.Kindly contact us for customised diet & workout plan.

Hi dear, yes the irregular period cycle & skipping your periods is due to increase in body weight, particularly body fats. You firstly need to visit a good gynecologist & get yourself assessed for your hormonal profile, blood sugars, insulin, thyroid, etc.
Next Steps
As of now start modulating your lifestyle by starting these changes- 1. Have healthy home-cooked food made in less oil & sugar. 2. Avoid processed, junk, fried, sugary foods. 3. Improve your physical activity 4. Have a good liquid intake. Weight loss & hormonal imbalance is a gradual process hence I would recommend a strict fat reduction diet & exercise under an experience, wherein you will gradually see the difference in your weight & thereby improve your menstrual cycle!! Yes it is because of obesity. Consult a Gynaecologist as u missed periods for 1 year. Once diagnosis is clear hormonal and weight issues can be easily tacked by diet. Contact me through my Practo profile for more assistance.
