Water like discharge from belly button
3 month baby has discharge like water from belly button, I consult doctor he prescribed mupirocin oinment, I used for 2 weeks but there is discharge there wat to do for this? How days it take to cure

If it's sticky water like discharge then apply a pinch of salt over the area approximately 20-25mins before bath everyday for 7 days.

During a baby's growth in uterus, there's a connection from urinary bladder to umbilicus or belly button. Usually it gets obliterated before birth, however rarely it can stay open and cause urine leakage here its called patent Uracus

If there is no fever or any foul smell from the discharge don’t apply anything on the umbilicus
When giving bath wash with plain water and any baby shampoo which you are using
Dry with a clean towel
Leave it open .do not cover the umbilicus.
