My mother drank more than 4 liters of water at a time to get her usg done. Now she is feeling extremely nauseous and fatigued and has vomited a lot of water. Urinating a lot and getting muscle cramps at night. Her appetite is almost gone. We are so scared. Is all this happening because of overhydration?

Is she a Cardiac patient?
Do get a creatinine levels and Serum electrolytes done along with an ECG .
Chek her BP, spo2 if possible
Body will try to flush our excess of water ,through vomit ,urine
If Vitals like bp within normal range and spo2 >95
Also need to Chek electrolyte like sodium ,potassium .
Consult to near by physician if symptoms persistent.
