Doctor, I'm 18 yr old I'm Talking Corn flakes with a bowl of milk As of now... Should I increase my diet with banana and mung beans for Vitamin D? Are 1 banana every day and handfull of mung beans good enough for Vitamin D need of body..

Vit-d deficiency can be met not only through having one or two specific foods daily,try to make modification in your lifestyle routine like do exercise,drink sufficient water,reduce stress level if u have by doing either meditation or yoga for minimum of 20mins,sleep early n woke up early for exercise,try to expose your body to direct sun rays at least for 10mins.there are lots of reason responsible for vit d deficiency not only unhealthy eating habits but also improper lifestyle routine.Pls correct all.

Hii, No none of them are rich source of vit D . Actually the only source of taking vit D is Sunlight exposure. You should spend your time with Direct Exposure of Sunlight in the morning before 10am and in evening time after 5pm . You can also charge your drinking and Bathing water with sunlight to be absorbed by the body to rich the nutritional needs.

Vitamin D is available in many other sources as well which are even more readily available for your absorption. Remember taking foods is not the only thing eating at right time and quantity is also important.

Hello, Now a days Vitamin D deficiency is most common, this is due to lifestyle & stress level deformity as well. Only any of the food grain never meet the requirements of Vitamin D & other nutrients as well..
