Recently checked vitamin d level was 6.5ng/ml should I consider taking vitamin D supplement. If yes is there a vegan option? Or is there natural option to get vitamin d to optimal level through food

hello, Yes the level is too low which means a severe deficiency and treat it first with supplement because vit D through food takes time and foods like sesame seeds, soy bean, coconut oil external application, salmon fish helps in improving

Hello there is no rich dietary source of vit D, only way of getting it is sunlight with maximum exposure of you skin around 6Am-9am early in the morning. This too is not enough to cover up your D levels,we can not cover up the vit d through diet, if you are deficient of it, you must take supplement as suggested by your doctor .
